Co-reach: Melting, Granulating, Flaking, Cooling
Utilizing the low melting point characteristics of materials, and considering the viscosity range when materials are in a molten state, a special distribution device spreads the molten liquid evenly onto a moving steel belt (or is adhered to a rotating drum) that moves at a constant speed beneath it. The continuous spray cooling system underneath the steel belt (or belt) cools and solidifies the material during its transportation, thereby achieving the desired shape.
Suitable for a variety of materials that require shaping with melting points (or softening points) between 50°C and 300°C, as well as materials with "supercooled crystallization" characteristics.
Product shapes can be hemispherical, flake, strip, spindle-shaped, square, and other forms, with production rates ranging from 50 kg to 7000 kg per hour.
ZGJ series drum flakers are suitable for various materials with melting points below 400°C. They use a siphon-type spray cooling method and a segmented blade system to produce irregular flakes. Typical materials include phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, sulfur, naphthalene, sodium sulfide, fatty alcohols, and more.
I.Working Principle: This equipment serves dual purposes: drying and flaking. The entire process of film formation, dehydration or cooling, scraping, and obtaining dried or flaked products is completed within one rotation cycle of the drum, typically within 5-20 seconds. The thickness of the wet material film is generally 0.5-1.5 mm. Drum Flaking: This process involves cooling and crystallizing the material. The molten material in the feed pan comes into contact with the cooled drum, forming a film on the drum surface. Through intensified heat transfer via atomization, the film cools, solidifies, and crystallizes. The crystallized film is then scraped off by a blade, resulting in flake products. This method is suitable for low-melting-point materials to form flakes in one step. |
